B-Sens Sign Forward Stephen Schultz to PTO

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed forward Stephen Schultz to a professional try-out contract.
Schultz, 25, began the season with the Trenton Titans of the ECHL where he appeared in 47 games, recording 51 points (26 goals, 25 assists) and adding 26 penalty minutes.
The 5-11, 190-pound forward spent the majority of the 2011-12 season with the Texas Stars where he recorded eight goals, three assists and added 20 penalty minutes in 34 games. He also appeared in five games with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads recording three points (two goals, one assist).
Prior to turning pro the Westbury, N.Y. native played four seasons for the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Colorado College. In four years with the Tigers, he scored 36 goals, 50 assists and recorded 122 penalty minutes in 127 games.
The B-Sens return to action tonight as they host the Connecticut Whale at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $19 for side seating and $18 for end seating.
