(York, Pa.): The York Revolution have signed three more key players for the 2013 season, inking veteran Major League outfielder Jason Repko, along with returning relievers Stephen Penney and Wade Korpi. The signings were announced today by manager Mark Mason, bringing the current total to 17 signed players with the club's first spring training workout exactly one month away.

Repko enters his 14th pro season and is a veteran of parts of seven Major League seasons, having totaled 360 games with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins, and Boston Red Sox. The 32-year-old was a first round draft pick of the Dodgers in 1999 and broke into the big leagues when he made the Dodgers' Opening Day roster in 2005. Repko made an immediate splash, connecting on a home run in his first career at-bat at Dodger Stadium, and spent the majority of his rookie season with the big club.

Repko was the Dodgers' Opening Day centerfielder in 2006, but after batting .304 through his first 25 games, was limited the rest of the season due to an injury sustained while trying to rob a home run defensively. After being forced to miss the entire 2007 season due to injury, Repko split time between Triple-A and the Majors in 2008 and 2009. He once again saw regular time in the Majors with the Twins during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, and was with the Red Sox last April before injuring his shoulder. Upon returning, Repko spent most of last season at Triple-A Pawtucket, helping the PawSox claim the International League crown. He owns a .224 career average in the Majors, and a .270 lifetime mark in the minor leagues.

Penney returns to York where he made 62 appearances last season, tied for third most in the Atlantic League. The 6'7 righty went 2-1 with a 3.13 ERA out of the Revolution bullpen in his first season in York. Penney, 26, had spent his previous four seasons in the Seattle Mariners organization, reaching the Double-A level in 2011.

Korpi went 4-0 for the Revs last season with a 2.27 ERA in 18 appearances. The lefty held the opposition scoreless in 14 of those 18 outings, and was outstanding in three spot starting assignments, combining to allow just two runs over 13.1 innings when he was called upon to begin the game. The Notre Dame product came to York after spending his entire previous career in the Miami Marlins organization. Turning 27 this Sunday, he will enter his sixth pro season with a career 19-11 record and a 3.25 ERA, with the majority of that time having been spent as a reliever.

The 2013 season begins on Opening Night, April 18 at Sovereign Bank Stadium when the Revolution host the Bridgeport Bluefish at 6:30 p.m. Full-season, partial-season, and individual tickets are on sale now at YorkRevolution.com, (717) 801-HITS, and in-person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office.
