Binghamton Senators News Release

TORONTO -The Binghamton Senators concluded a three game road trip as they visited the Ricoh Coliseum this afternoon for the second of back-to-back games against the North Division's Toronto Marlies. While the B-Sens defeated the Marlies yesterday by a score of 4-2, Toronto rebounded today taking the game 2-1 in the shootout.

The teams traded goals in regulation. Dustin Gazley scored his third goal of the season at 4:24 of the first to put Binghamton on the board. Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Corey Cowick drew the assists on the play. Greg Scott would tie the game for the Marlies, notching his fourth of the season with just 3:02 remaining in the second period. Joe Colborne and Dylan Yeo assisted on the goal.

The game would progress to a shootout where Ryan Hamilton and Colborne each scored for the home standing Marlies, while Gazley was the lone shooter to beat Drew MacIntyre for the B-Sens. Colborne's goal, which would stand as the game winner, came in the second round of that shootout.

Nathan Lawson started in goal for the B-Sens turning aside 27 of 28 shots through regulation and overtime before stopping three of five Marlies in the shootout. MacIntyre stopped 28 of 29 shots through regulation and overtime and stonewalled four of five B-Sens in the shootout to help the Marlies claim the extra point.

The B-Sens return to action on Friday as they host the Connecticut Whale at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $19 for side seating and $18 for end seating. Fans can purchase tickets through the B-Sens' executive office, Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office and all Ticketmaster outlets during normal business hours, by visiting www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 607-722-SENS (7367) and through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.
