ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Florida's Milan fined, suspended

Florida's Dan Milan has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #669, Gwinnett at Florida, on March 1.

Milan is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 18:08 of the third period.

Milan will miss Florida's game vs. Gwinnett tonight (March 2).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Florida's Henley fined

Florida's Brent Henley has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #669, Gwinnett at Florida, on March 1.

Henley was assessed a game misconduct for continuing altercation under Rule #46.5 at 18:08 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

San Francisco's Tam fined, suspended

San Francisco's Mikael Tam has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #671, San Francisco at Las Vegas, on March 1.

Tam was assessed a major penalty for boarding under Rule #41.3 at 8:50 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Tam will miss San Francisco's game at Las Vegas on March 3.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
