Trevor Lewis Added on PTO

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced today the club has signed forward Trevor Lewis to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Lewis, 25, started his professional career in late January with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. In just 18 games, the 5'11", 181-pound forward has 13 points (four goals, nine assists) and 10 penalty minutes.

A native of Lititz, PA, Lewis played four seasons at Robert Morris University in Moon Township, PA. As a senior, the team captain set career-highs in points (29) and games played (39) while he established school records in games played (143) and consecutive games played (123). He finished fifth all-time at RMU in career points (83), and fourth all-time in career assists.

The Rivermen travel to Rockford on Friday to face the IceHogs before they return on Saturday and play host to the Grand Rapids Griffins. Both games begin at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard on CD Country 107.9 FM.
