Goaltender Brandon Anderson Returns to Hershey

HERSHEY, Pa. - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that goaltender Brandon Anderson has been reassigned from the ECHL's Reading Royals. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Anderson, 20, earns his third recall of the season. He has twice served as backup goaltender, most recently on February 24 at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall against the Albany Devils.
The 6-1, 184-pound native of Langley, BC has made 15 appearances in the Royals net, posting a record of 8-6-1, a goals-against average of 3.05 and save percentage of .880 while registering two shutouts.
Anderson joined HERSHEY late in the 2011-12 regular season but did not appear in a game. He finished the final season of his WHL junior career with the Brandon Wheat Kings, after starting 2011-12 and spending the three previous years with the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In 138 career games in the WHL, Anderson has a record of 44-62-17.
HERSHEY visits the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday, March 1 at 7:05 PM. The BEARS' next home game is set for Saturday, March 2 at 7:00 PM against the Norfolk Admirals. Individual tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office, by calling (717) 508-BEAR or online at TicketMaster.com.
