Miami Sting Sign Two South Florida Natives

Coral Gables, February 5, 2013 - Indoor Football has found its way back to Miami Florida and The Miami Sting are proud to announce that they have signed two Miami natives to the roster.

Dennis Brown was ranked the number one quarter back in South Florida before signing a letter of intent to the University of Connecticut. He started as a true freshman and concluded his collegiate career at Norfolk State University where he was named All - American. He later went on to sign a three year deal with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders followed by appearances in the IFL, AFL and UFL.

Julius Eppinger attended Miami High School, where he was a dual athlete, excelling in both Basketball and Football. He was an All - Miami Dade selection in Football, catching 45 passes for 950 yards. Eppinger went on to attend Florida International University and currently holds the number ten spot for all time receiving yards and number five spot for all time return yards. Eppinger has been playing on a professional level since 2007. Last season he averaged 100.7 yards per game with 19 recorded touchdown passes in 2012.
