Valentine's Day for Your Sweetie: Roses and Baseball

February 4, 2013 - Midwest League (MWL1)
West Michigan Whitecaps News Release

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - The Whitecaps are offering a contest to win a one-of-a-kind romantic package for Valentine's Day. You could win the perfect gift to give to your special someone by showing off your romantic side.

One lucky person is going to make their sweetheart smile with this package on Valentine's Day. Crash will personally deliver to your sweetheart one dozen roses from Eastern Floral, a goodie package from Ferris Coffee & Nut along with a Whitecaps game package that includes four tickets, and a $20 gift card.

To enter the Valentine's Day contest, fans are being asked to write a romantic poem to your valentine. Since this is a Whitecaps promotion, the trick to this is that each poem must include baseball. Entries need to be sent to ballparklove@whitecapsbaseball.com and include the name of your someone special and location where you want Crash to surprise your sweetie.

Deadline to enter is Monday, February 11; one winner will be selected and contacted on February 12. Must be 18 or older to participate and package must be delivered in Kent or Ottawa counties during the regular business hours of 9a.m. and 5p.m.

For those fans who don't win the contest but still want that perfect baseball something for their sweetie, consider purchasing a Whitecaps ticket package or team merchandise. We recommend the Tiger Friday 7-pack, but you may choose from individual tickets, undated ticket books, partial or full season tickets or group tickets. All are on sale now. Complete ticket information, as well as promotional schedule information, our online merchandise store, and a PDF download of the 2013 schedule with game times, are available at www.whitecapsbaseball.com.
