Nobody scored. But in the dying seconds of the period RHYSE DIENO banged one off the post for the Rebels ninth shot of the period. Lethbridge also had nine shots on goal.

SECOND PERIOD

The Rebels opened the scoring five minutes into the middle frame - on the powerplay. DOMINIK VOLEK grabbed a loose puck and went five-hole on Lethbridge goaltender Ty Rimmer. But then, 8:11 later, a similar play occurred: this time for Lethbridge. Power play. Five hole. Graham hood made it 1-1.o The Rebels were outshot 13-7 in the middle frame.

THIRD PERIOD

Welcome back, MATT DUMBA. Fresh back from the Minnesota Wild training camp, the Calgary native rifled one that went upstairs to give Red Deer a 2-1 win at 7:08. And, then, a goal the Rebels would like to get back: Hurricane Sam Mckechnie got behind the Rebel defence and knotted things 2-2 - short-handed. After a few really good chances from the Rebels, Russell Maxwell let a howitzer from the high slot to give Lethbridge a 3-2 lead - their first lead of the night.
