Matchup:

The Solar Bears return home from a three-game road trip to begin a stretch that will see them play 13 of their next 14 games on home ice. The Solar Bears began their road trip by defeating the Gwinnett Gladiators by a 4-3 score before falling in back-to-back games to the South Carolina Stingrays. The second game between Orlando and South Carolina saw both G John Curry and D Josh Caron leave the game due to injury. Caron has been transferred to the 21-day IR and Curry is questionable for tonight's matchup. Greenville is in the midst of a five game road trip that started with a 4-1 win over the Gwinnett Gladiators before splitting a pair of games last weekend against the Florida Everblades. The loss against Florida on Sunday was the first time Greenville had suffered a regulation loss since the Everblades beat them 6-4 on January 4, a stretch of eight games. The Solar Bears are 1-2-0-1 against the Road Warriors this season.

Solar Bears Unveil Turner Cup Banner on Saturday, Feb. 2:

The Orlando Solar Bears will unveil the 2001 Turner Cup Championship Banner on Saturday, February 2. The pregame ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and fans are encouraged to be in their seats early. The Turner Cup will be in the building, along with representatives from the Hockey Hall of Fame. Mayor Buddy Dyer will make a special presentation, and special guests will be in attendance.

The Solar Bears will wear special throwback jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game, with the winning bidders getting an opportunity to meet their player.
