ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Alaska's Clackson suspended

Alaska's Chris Clackson has been suspended one additional game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #423, Ontario at Alaska, on Jan. 11.

Clackson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for cross checking under Rule #59.5 at 7:10 of the first period.

Clackson missed Alaska's game against Ontario on Jan. 12 and will miss the club's game at Idaho on Jan. 18.

Colorado's DiDiomete fined, suspended

Colorado's Devin DiDiomete has been suspended for four regular-season games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #431, Stockton at Colorado, on Jan. 12.

DiDiomete was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for charging under Rule #42.5 at 19:44 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

DiDiomete will miss Colorado's games at Ontario (Jan. 18), at Las Vegas (Jan. 19) and vs. Ontario (Jan. 25 and Jan. 26).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Idaho's Todd fined, suspended

Idaho's Scott Todd has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #433, Idaho at Bakersfield, on Jan. 12.

Todd was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing under Rule #45.5 at 7:37 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Todd will miss Idaho's games vs. Alaska on Jan. 18 and Jan. 19.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Orlando's Dudas fined, suspended

Orlando's Jesse Dudas has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #418, Orlando at Greenville, on Jan. 11.

Dudas is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Dudas will miss Orlando's game against Wheeling on Jan. 17.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Orlando's Cruthers fined

Orlando's Ryan Cruthers has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #428, Orlando at Greenville, on Jan. 12.

Cruthers was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #39.5 at 15:59 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
