CINCINNATI, Ohio - January 15, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals close out their four-game season series with the Cincinnati Cyclones by paying a visit to U.S. Bank Arena this evening. The Jackals enter action tonight with points in three straight games (2-0-1).

The Jackals are facing the Cyclones tonight for the fourth of four meetings this season and second of two at U.S. Bank Arena. The Jackals are 2-1-0 against the Cyclones thanks to a 4-3 win in Cincinnati on December 27. All three of the prior meetings between the Jackals and Cyclones have been decided by one goal, including one OT contest. The team that gave up the first goal of the game has won two of the three prior meetings. Maxime Clermont has stopped 58 combined shots in winning both of his starts against the Cyclones while Dustin Gazley has paced the offense with five points (2G, 3A) in three games against Cincinnati.
The Elmira Jackals enter tonight's game with 123 goals which ranks fifth out of fourteen teams in the Eastern Conference. The Jackals have been clicking along at 4.1 goals per game over their last nine which has produced a 6-2-1 record. Cincinnati, meanwhile, has given up only 102 goals which are the second-fewest in the conference. The Cyclones have given up an average of 2.86 goals per game since the start of 2013 including a shutout against Orlando on January 9. Brian Foster ranks 11th in GAA at 2.55.
