Red Bulls Reveal 2013 Preseason Schedule

HARRISON, NJ (Jan. 11, 2013) - The New York Red Bulls revealed their 2013 preseason schedule today. New York opens the season March 3, when it travels to JELD-WEN Field to take on the Portland Timbers at 7:30 PM ET (TV: ESPN2).

After players report to camp on Jan. 21, the team travels to Florida Jan.

22 to train in Bradenton, FL from Jan. 22-Feb. 1. The Red Bulls will play the Columbus Crew on Feb. 1. Other matches will be confirmed at a later date.

On Feb. 11, the squad heads to Tucson, AZ for its second and final preseason trip. The Red Bulls will participate in the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup for the second-straight year, where they will face MLS foes Real Salt Lake (Feb. 13), the New England Revolution (Feb. 16) and Seattle Sounders FC (Feb. 20) before competing in either the tournament's championship or third place match (Feb. 23). Times for these matches will be announced at a later date.

Feb. 1: Red Bulls vs. Columbus Crew in Bradenton, FL. Return to NY/NJ area.

Feb. 13: Red Bulls vs. Real Salt Lake at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tucson, AZ (time TBA)

Feb. 16: Red Bulls vs. New England Revolution at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tucson, AZ (time TBA)

Feb. 20: Red Bulls vs. Seattle Sounders FC at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tucson, AZ (time TBA)

Feb. 23: FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup First/Third Place Match (time TBA) Feb. 24: Return to NY/NJ area.

March 1: Red Bulls vs. Portland Timbers at JELD-WEN Field at 7:30 PM (TV: ESPN2)
