ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign (23-8-1-1), defending Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings earned a 6-4 come-from-behind victory over the Utah Grizzlies (13-13-2-3) before a crowd of 7,837 at Citizens Business Bank Arena Friday night. Colton Yellow Horn got his second hat trick of the season.

The Reign jumped out to a 1-0 lead on their first shot of the game 90 seconds into play. Colton Yellow Horn and Eric Springer entered the Utah zone on a 2-on-1. Yellow Horn carried the puck down the right side and turned his head toward Springer as if he was about to pass, but surprised goaltender Andrew Engelage with a quick wrister over his glove to score. Kyle Kraemer and CJ Stretch had assists on the goal. Los Angeles Kings forward Trevor Lewis, who signed with Utah last week, evened it up at 6:15. Carrozzi made a save on Colin Vock's breakaway bid, but Lewis was there to scoop the rebound over the sprawling netminder. Utah took a 3-1 lead on goals by Tommy Maxwell at 8:46 and Mitch Wahl at 12:54. Grant Rolheiser replaced Engelage in net with just over a minute left in the second period.

Kraemer scored his 50th career goal in a Reign sweater to cut the Reign's deficit to 3-2 at 3:43 of the second frame. Mario Lamoureux and Yellow Horn worked the puck to Kraemer at the top of the left circle where he fired a wrist shot past Rolheiser. Colin Vock had a chance to extend the Utah lead on a penalty shot, but Carrozzi deflected his shot into the corner.

The Reign offense came alive in the third. Yellow Horn tied the game at three goals apiece just 48 seconds into the frame. The center picked up a long rebound in the slot and rifled a shot through traffic. Lamoureux gave Ontario a 4-3 lead at 7:17 with an unassisted, shorthanded goal. Lamoureux chased down a loose puck at center ice and skated in solo on Rolheiser before snapping the puck into the left side of the net. Yellow Horn completed his second hat trick of the season with a power-play goal 81 seconds later as he swept a rebound in the crease across the goal line. Chris Cloud's blistering slap shot at 15:31 put the Reign up 6-3 before Lewis scored his second of the game at 19:43 and the Reign went on to beat the Grizzlies by a final score of 6-4.

The win marked the second consecutive game in which the Reign beat the Grizzlies after entering the third period trailing Utah. Ontario is now 4-2-0-0 at home when trailing to start the third.
