San Francisco Bulls News Release

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls (11-17-1-2) were defeated by the Ontario Reign (19-7-1-0), 3-1, Friday night at the Cow Palace. Marek Viedensky picked up the only goal for the Bulls, and Thomas Heemskerk made 19 saves. Fortunately for all, the world did not come to an end.

Ontario got on the board first at the expense of the Bulls' first power play of the game. Colton Yellow Horn scored his 18th goal of the season short-handed at 8:44 of the first period. Yellow Horn was set up by Dan DaSilva and Kyle Kraemer.

Ontario doubled their lead to 2-0 when Mario Lamoureux scored at 4:59 of the second period. Lamoureux's 12th goal of the season was assisted by Everett Sheen and Jason Beeman.

The Bulls pulled the score back to 2-1 at 4:46 of the third period. Viedensky scored to give the Bulls life. Dean Ouellet and Mikael Tam picked up assists on the goal. The Bulls put up a fierce fight to tie the game but could not solve J.F. Berube. Ouellet was robbed from point blank range in the final seconds to keep it a 2-1 game. Ontario added an empty-net goal from Yellow Horn as time expired to give Ontario a 3-1 lead and the victory.

The Bulls return to action tomorrow night in Ontario to take on the Reign at 6:00 pm. The Bulls return to the Cow Palace on Friday, December 28, when they host the Las Vegas Wranglers. The first 1,000 fans, 12 and under, receive a Bulls Youth T-Shirt. The Radio Disney Road Crew will be on hand from 6-7 pm.
