Lancers Acquire F Baillargeon in Trade with Indiana

Ralston, Neb. - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce they have acquired veteran forward Robbie Baillargeon in a trade with the Indiana Ice. A native of Brewster, Massachusetts, Baillargeon has tallied six goals, nine assists and 15 points in 25 games with the Ice this season.

A 6'0", 175-pound forward, Baillargeon was Indiana's leading returning scorer this season after recording 48 points (14 goals, 34 assists) in 54 games last year. In 69 career USHL games, Baillargeon has registered 26 power play points (six goals, 20 assists) and 15 multi-point contests.

Originally selected 250th overall (Round 17) by Indiana in the 2010 USHL Entry Draft, Baillargeon was tabbed with the 136th overall selection (Round 5) by the Ottawa Senators in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

He will wear jersey number 18 for the Lancers and will be available when the team welcomes the Sioux Falls Stampede to the Ralston Arena later today.

Omaha (14-12-0, 28 pts.) has won 10 of its last 13 games overall and returns to action tonight as the Lancers welcome the Sioux Falls Stampede to the Ralston Arena for the first time ever. Doors for season ticket holders open at 3:45 PM with doors for the general public to open at 4 PM. Puck drop is scheduled for 5:05 PM.
