VANCOUVER, BC - Two power play goals 13 seconds apart early in the 3rd period snapped a 1 all tie and helped power the Kamloops Blazers to a 4- 1 win over the Vancouver Giants.
Brendan Ranford scored both goals, the first on a 2 man advantage just 18 seconds into the period, his second on a one man advantage just 13 seconds later.
The Blazers added another into an empty net.
Cain Franson scored the Giants' goal, his 10th of the year.
Goaltender Payton Lee was great, once again, keeping Vancouver in it with 32 saves.
Giants' next game: Friday Dec. 14 vs. Prince George at the Pacific Coliseum at 7:30.
Note: Friday's game is ' Teddy Bear Toss Night' with all proceeds going to charity.
