Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls face off against the Colorado Eagles for the fourth time this season, the second of four meetings at the Cow Palace. The Bulls fell to the Eagles last night, losing by the score of 5-1, despite out-shooting their opponents 30-28. This marked Colorado's first visit to the historic Cow Palace. The loss increased the season series favoring Colorado 3-0-0-0, with the Bulls seeking their first win against their foes from Loveland. Chad Costello and Ryan Schnell paced the Eagles' assault with two goals apiece.

The Bulls play the third of four games in the current home stand, seeking a split in the weekend series with the Eagles. Jordan Morrison scored the lone goal on Friday night in the third period, bringing down a flurry of teddy bears to the ice. Seton Medical Center will deliver bears thrown for the Teddy Bear Toss to children in need. Fans anxiously awaited the Bulls first goal of the evening. Their patience was rewarded 4:12 into the third when Morrison snuck a power-play goal past Colorado net minder Kyle Jones. Dean Ouellet and Sacha Guimond picked up the assists on the goal. Ouellet remains hot in December, having cracked the score sheet in all three December tilts for the Bulls.

The Bulls will look to return to their winning ways on home ice on Saturday, after Colorado snapped San Francisco's four game win-streak at home. It was the second longest active streak at home in the ECHL this season, heading into Friday. With the win last night, the Eagles tied the Bulls in the standings at 21 points.

Colorado boasts the top scoring tandem in the ECHL, with Costello (41 points) and Jack Combs (35) both adding to their league leading totals, first and second respectively. The Bulls successfully shut down the ECHL top scorer, Michael Forney (17 goals), who failed to register a point on the night.

The Bulls' Taylor Nelson relieved goaltender Thomas Heemskerk to open the third period. Nelson stopped all but one shot he faced in the final frame. Daniil Tarasov was not the worse for wear after suffering an injury on Wednesday night, in the Bulls 4-1 victory over the Bakersfield Condors, registering a team high of six shots on Jones.

The first 1,000 fans, 17 and under, will receive a Rawhide Snow Globe Giveaway. In addition, the Radio Disney AM 1310 Road Crew will be at the Cow Palace, tonight from 6-7 pm. Check out the North Hall for music, dancing, prizes and games.
