Rio Grande Valley Flash News Release
HIDALGO, Texas- the Rio Grande Valley Flash snapped their two game losing streak in convincing fashion by defeating the Arizona Storm by a score of 16-2, Friday night at State Farm Arena.
Jorge Duran would score five of the 16 goals for the Flash. He also assisted on goal. Juan Jalomo, Erick Flores, Jorge Quiroz, and Damian Garcia would each score two goals apiece in the victory as well. Jalomo had an assist, Quiroz had three assists, and Flores had two helpers as well.
The Flash scored in every period and went 3-for-4 in the power play.
The Arizona Storm scored in the first and last quarter of the game and went scoreless in their lone power play opportunity.
The next game for the Flash is on Sunday, December 16 at State Farm Arena when they will welcome the Rockford Rampage with kickoff at 6:00 pm.
