Jr. Blues lose 5-2
Skibba and Takacsi-Nagy register goals
The Jr. Blues traveled to a very tough Sault Saint Marie, Michigan to play the Soo Eagles.
Despite outshooting the Eagles 13-5 in the first period, the Jr. Blues weren't able to beat the Soo goaltender. The second period was a different story as the Soo were able to beat Jr. Blues goaltender Matt Leon four times to take a 4-1 lead into the third. Brett Skibba scored the lone goal of the period on a nice breakaway move.
Oliver Takacsi-Nagy (pictured above) would cut the lead to 4-2 with a little over 3 minutes remaining in the game but it wouldn't be enough as the Eagles would go on to win 5-2.
Late Goal Beats Jr. Blues again
Skibba scores lone Jr. Blues goal

The Eagles scored a goal early in the first to make it 1-0. Skibba (pictured right) scored his second of the weekend in the second period to make it 1-1.
The score would remain 1-1 until just over 5 minutes remaining in the game when an Eagles player was able to beat goaltender Ryan Kellenberger from the point. The Jr. Blues are currently in 7th place in the North Division.
Kellenberger had 35 saves in the loss.
