Nebraska Danger News Release

GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA - The Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team continues to recruit for the 2013 season. Danger Head Coach Mike Davis is pleased to announce that the following players have signed for 2013:

Andre Piper-Jordan: WR 6'2, 215 Everett Community College Last season as a member of the Everett Raptors, Piper-Jordan had 52 receptions for 910 yards in 11 games. Piper-Jordan's 25 touchdowns in 2012 ranked 4th in the IFL. "Andre will bring great veteran and indoor football leadership to the Danger, and we're glad to have him in Nebraska," Davis said. "It will be nice to have a player like him on our side of the ball and not have to guard him anymore."

Willie Tuitama: QB 6'3, 230 University of Arizona Tuitama returns to the Danger after one season with the San Antonio Talons (AFL) as a backup QB. During the Danger's inaugural season, Tuitama threw for 785 yards and 11 touchdowns in four games before being sidelined by a shoulder injury. "Willie has one of the best arms I've ever seen," Davis states. "We're excited to have him back on the team for the upcoming season."

Cornelius "Pig" Brown: DB 5'11, 212 University of Missouri Brown returns to the Danger for a second season. In 2012, he led the Danger with 60 total tackles, including 43 solo. He also had a team-high three interceptions. "Having Pig on the team is like having another coach on the field. He is a playmaker and a vocal leader," says Davis.

Nick Blunt: WR 6'1, 210 Hastings College Blunt, a native of Oakland, California, is a recent Hastings College graduate and will make his indoor football debut with the Danger this season. For the Broncos in 2012, he earned honorable mention All-GPAC honors while hauling in a team-high six touchdown receptions. "We want to see how Nick stacks up against these guys in camp," Davis remarks. "He's a small town kid with big time talent."

"Again we are adding both new and returning talent to our roster with this group of guys," Davis says. "Pig, Willie, and Andre are all great indoor vets that will be a huge boost to our roster. We're excited to see how Nick does for us, as well."

The Danger will begin the 2013 season with a home opener against the Lincoln Haymakers of the CPIFL on Saturday, February 23. Kickoff at the Heartland Events Center is at 7:00 PM.
