Former Crunch Captain Zenon Konopka Returns to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY - Former Syracuse Crunch captain Zenon Konopka will return to the War Memorial on Friday, Dec. 7 when the Crunch host the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.
Konopka will be available to sign autographs and meet fans in Memorial Hall during the first intermission of Friday's game.
Konopka played for the Crunch during the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons. As captain during the 2007-08 season he led the Crunch to a second round playoff appearance after an amazing 20-0-0-3 record in the club's final 23 regular season games. Currently under contract with the Minnesota Wild, Konopka has played 250 NHL games with the Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Tampa Bay Lighting and Ottawa Senators.
