VooDoo Welcome DB Efe Osawemwenze

NEW ORLEANS (November 28, 2012) - The Arena Football League (AFL) has assigned former Cleveland Gladiators defensive back Efe Osawemwenze to the New Orleans VooDoo, announced the VooDoo front office Tuesday, November 27th.
Osawemwenze (6'1" 195 lbs. Southern) was with the Cleveland Gladiators for one season. He also attended Southern University where Osawemwenze was named second-team All-American and second-team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference for the Jaguars. The Dallas, Texas native amassed 44 tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss, eight passes defended and six interceptions during his senior year.
"Efe is a player who suffered an injury and worked his way back to get another opportunity," said VooDoo Head Coach Pat O'Hara. "We are excited to see what he can contribute to our team."
