Schaumburg Boomers Announce Decorate the Tree Contest

November 27, 2012 - Frontier League (FL) Schaumburg Boomers

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Culminating with the free Milk & Cookies Event on Friday, December 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with free refreshments and photos with Santa and mascot Coop, the Schaumburg Boomers need your help to decorate the Boomers Stadium Christmas tree with great prizes for all participants.

The Schaumburg Boomers have an empty Christmas tree and need your help to decorate it! To make your very own Boomers ornament, simply print out the Boomers coloring sheet, bring your personalized Boomers artwork down to Boomers Stadium and hang it on our holiday tree for all our visitors to see. As thanks for helping us add ornaments to our tree, each participant will receive one free ticket to Opening Day 2013 on Thursday, May 16, and one lucky entrant will win the honor of throwing a ceremonial first pitch at the opener!

Get your holiday festivities underway as the contest concludes with a special visit from Santa Claus at the Boomers Milk & Cookies Holiday Event from 4-6 p.m. at Boomers Stadium on Friday, December 21! Attendees will have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus and Coop, enjoy some free milk and cookies, and help put the finishing touches on the Boomers Christmas Tree!

To hang your entries on the Boomers tree, visit the stadium anytime during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Boomers Stadium is located at 1999 Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193 and deadline for submission is December 21, at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Sara Romano by emailing sromano@boomersbaseball.com or calling 847.461.3695.
