Rush Acquire Cory Conway

Edmonton, AB---.Edmonton Rush General Manager/Head Coach Derek Keenan announced today that the club has acquired right handed offense player Cory Conway and a sixth round selection in the 2013 Entry Draft in exchange for a third round selection in the 2014 Entry Draft.Conway has played two NLL seasons with the Calgary Roughnecks, prior to being traded by Colorado Mammoth. In the 2012 season he played thirteen games to record four goals, twenty-four assists for a total of twenty eight points and scooped 16 loose balls.
"This trade brings us a young versatile player who has abilities to do a bit of everything." states Keenan.
In 2010, Thompson was voted a First Team All-Star and MVP in the President's Cup Tournament (Senior "B")... Was a member of the President's Cup champion Onondaga Redhawks... In 2007, he was selected as First Team All-Star in the Junior "A" circuit.
