Game Notes

Mississauga Rebranded

The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors were purchased over the summer and changed their name and logo to the Steelheads. The change of names and uniforms fits with the GTA because the Steelhead is a local fish and the new uniforms are very similar to the Maple Leafs.

67's Make 3 Trades

Today the Ottawa 67's announced 3 different trades. The 67's Acquired Clint Windsor for a 5th round pick from Mississauga. The biggest announcement was alternate captain and overage defenceman Jake Cardwell being traded to Belleville for 3 draft picks. The Bulls sent Ottawa a 3rd round pick in the OHL Priority Selection Draft in 2013, a 2nd round pick in 2014 and a 5th round pick in 2015. The 67's also traded goalie Keegan Wilson to the Guelph Storm in exchange for a 7th round pick in 2013.

Last Chance to Own a Poppy Jersey

Every year on November 11th we remember those who have served our country and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

The 67's honored our military history with a pre-game ceremony yesterday and wore special poppy jersey that they also wore during the School Day game on October 29th. You can now bid on those jerseys with proceeds going to the Poppy Fund.
