McQuaid, 48, a Seattle native, brings over 25 years of experience in media relations, sports and business development to Everett, Wash.-based National Lacrosse League franchise. In his role with the Stealth, McQuaid will join the organization's executive team and serve as the day-to-day media contact.

Along with his responsibilities with the Stealth, McQuaid and his firm McQuaidUSA will continue to support US Lacrosse in the State of Washington.
Throughout his career, McQuaid has worked in both business development and communications capacities in broadcasting, finance, technology and sports. In athletics, McQuaid has supported a number of Olympic sports including rowing, canoe/kayak and snowboarding. He began his sports career with the Western Hockey League Seattle Breakers and later worked on the game-day sports information staffs at Washington State University and the University of Washington along with serving as Washington state sports information director for US Lacrosse.
His sports information experience includes work with athletes competing in the Olympic Games, World Championships, Pan American Games, Goodwill Games, U.S. Olympic Trials, U.S. World Championships Trials, NorAm Snowboarding Finals, NCAA Final Four, NASCAR, NBA, NFL, MLS and Major League Baseball.
McQuaid is a graduate of Mercer Island High School and studied at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. As a competitive rower, he was named to the All Pac-10 Rowing Team while at WSU and won a National Championship for Philadelphia's Vesper Boat Club.
