Hill Receives First AHL Call up of the Year

October 29, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL) Ontario Reign

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, defending Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, have loaned defensemen Jordan Hill to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Hill, 23, joined the Sound Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 27 and played with the team on Sunday, Oct. 28 where he recorded his first goal of the season. The Sarnia, Ontario native has appeared in six games with the Reign this season posting one assist and nine penalty minutes.

Last season Hill played in the AHL with the Manchester Monarchs for 41 games. He earned three points (1g, 2a) and 26 penalty minutes. He played professionally between the AHL and the Reign since 2009 when he debuted with the Manitoba Moose (AHL). In 95 games Hill has posted 16 points (6g, 10a) and 103 penalty minutes.
