Pre-Season Action Friday; More Promos Set

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors are gearing up for their only home pre-season contest presented by the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center on Friday prior to the 2012-13 season. Bakersfield will play host to rival Stockton at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. for the general public. Season ticket holders will get into the game 15 min. prior to doors opening at 5:45 p.m.

There is a special ticket price for the game with lower level seats for $10 and upper level tickets going for $5. Fans can also take advantage of a buy one get one free ticket deal as part of Rideshare Week 2012 by clicking here. All in attendance will receive a 2012 promotional schedule and pocket schedule to make sure you don't miss any of the big games this upcoming season.

Speaking of new promotions, the Condors are ecstatic to have 2012 USA Olympic Beach Volleyball Silver Medalists April Ross and Jen Kessy in Condorstown on Saturday, Dec. 15th. Fresh off their impressive performance this summer, the duo will bring their talents to Condorstown for the first-ever beach volleyball exhibition on ice. In addition, the team will take pictures, sign autographs, and serve signed volleyballs to the crowd!

"We're excited to see the Condors play, meet all the great Condors fans and share our Olympic success with every one of them," April and Jen said.

PRE-SEASON TICKETS ON SALE

Tickets for the Condors only pre-season game in Bakersfield against the Stockton Thunder (Fri. Oct. 5, 7 p.m.) go on sale now. Individual tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster and the Rabobank Arena box office by calling 1-800-745-3000. Box office hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday thru Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday.

LA KINGS STANLEY CUP CELEBRATION OCT. 14

Opening Night in Condorstown will have a championship feel as the Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings Ice Crew Girls, Street Team, and mascot Bailey will be on hand as the Condors host the Las Vegas Wranglers at 5 p.m. Any locked out NHL Kings who are around (hint hint) are more than welcome to join Bailey and Crew at the game as well.

The festivities will begin at 2 p.m. with inflatables, games, and more out on the plaza in front of Rabobank Arena. In addition, the first 2,000 children, 12 & under, will receive a LA Kings Stanley Cup Champion pennant to hang on their wall.
