Rockland Boulders top League with 161,375 in Season AttendanceSeptember 5, 2012 - Canadian American League (Can-Am) Rockland Boulders
Earlier this season the franchise passed the 250,000 mark in all-time attendance, and the two-year total now stands at 285,079. The Boulders topped 4,000 in game attendance on 14 occasions this year compared to five in the 2011 season, and the total figure represented an increase of over 30%. There is also reason for optimism for the future, as Rockland's average of 3,859 fans over the season's final 11 games was a significant improvement over the average of 3,130 to that point.
With another year under its belt, Rockland Boulders management remains committed to even bigger and better things in the future. "The Boulders can't wait to get on the field for the 2013 season," stated Team President Ken Lehner in an open letter to Boulders Fans. "We guarantee the fun and games will continue for many years to come as we look forward to hosting generation after generation of Rockland Boulders baseball fans.
