Stampede Begin Training Camp Tonight

September 4, 2012 - United States Hockey League (USHL) Sioux Falls Stampede

Sioux Falls, SD-Training camp for the upcoming 2012-13 season officially kicks off tonight with the first team practice under head coach Cary Eades.

Practice will take place this evening at the Sioux Falls Ice & Recreation Center. The regular season begins on September 28th in Lincoln against the Stars. Click here for more information on the players who are in camp.

The Stampede's first exhibition game is Tuesday, September 11th in Sioux Center, IA against the Sioux City Musketeers. The game will take place at the All Seasons Center starting at 7 PM. Click here for ticket information. The Herd will then travel to Fargo next Friday for a game against the Force before heading down to Sioux City, September 19-22 for the USHL Fall Classic. The Stampede's home opener is set for Friday, October 5th against the Omaha Lancers at 7:05 PM. Single game tickets will go on sale later this month. Season, group and suite tickets are now available and can be purchased by contacting the Stampede office at 605-336-6060.

Stampede Notes:

- Fans can meet head coach Cary Eades this Thursday from 5-6:30 PM at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, rooms 8 & 9. This event is free and open to the public. Fans can meet the coach and ask questions about players and the upcoming season.
