Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have yet to hit the ice but have already been heavily involved in the community. With the Kamloops Blazers Hockey School finished, some of the hockey club's players have turned to other events.

The Blazers had Brady Gaudet, Tyler Bell, Taran Kozun, Chase Souto, Brock Balson and Digger all at the Interior Savings / Kamloops Daybreak Rotary Club's 1st annual Rib Fest. The players and mascot signed autographs, played soccer and helped out in the Fun Zone over this past weekend.

Over the next week, some of the Blazers will also be at other community events. Jordan DePape and Dylan Willick will be at Interior Savings Moonlight Movie Tour tonight at Riverside Park at 7:00pm. The players will be there to sign autographs and collect donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kamloops. For more information, visit https://www.interiorsavings.com/AboutUs/MovieTourEvent/.

Chase Souto, Tyler Bell and Digger will be at the Tim Hortons / City of Kamloops Free Family Skate this Saturday, August 18th at Brock Arena from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Digger will also be at the Kamloops Kidney Walk on Sunday, August 26th starting at 10:00am. For more information, visit www.kidney.ca/bcwalks.
