August 9, 2012 - Southern League (SL) Chattanooga Lookouts

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Although the first-place Lookouts are currently on the road playing the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Chattanooga's team will soon be back in action at AT&T Field. Tuesday, the Lookouts will embark upon a five-game homestand against the Jacksonville Suns. In addition to the featured promotions listed below, the Lookouts will be participating in the United Way's "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive for Hamilton County public school teachers and students. Any fan who contributes to the school supply drive at AT&T Field will receive a buy-one, get-one free General Admission ticket during the span of this homestand, which runs from August 14-18. Tuesday, August 14th (7:15): Great Outdoors Night! Brought to you by "Get Out Chattanooga Magazine," several vendors will be on hand to showcase their offerings in the world of outdoor entertainment. There will be several great prizes raffled off throughout the evening, along with fun kid activities. Camping World will be on site with a beautiful luxury RV for fans to browse. The night will also contain several fun facts and trivia about the great family-friendly activities that exists in and around the Chattanooga area.

Also, it's BI-LO BOGO! Buy one general admission ticket, get another one free by showing your BI-LO BONUS CARD. There is a limit of four general admission tickets per BI-LO BONUS CARD.

Wednesday, August 15th (7:15): Rossville Night! Numerous businesses and organizations will be present to help celebrate the city of Rossville at AT&T Field. Trivia and other fun activities will also be featured throughout the evening.

Also, this will be the second of three "ticket amnesty" days in which fans can bring in their 2012 unused, unscanned tickets and exchange them for a General Admission ticket for this specific game. Fans must bring their tickets to AT&T Field in order to exchange them for a new ticket.

Thursday, August 16th (7:15): UTC Night! UTC football season ticket holders will be able to pick up their tickets for the upcoming season. Coach Russ Huesman will be throwing out a first pitch, while the UTC Band and Scrappy will be on hand to celebrate the advent of a new season.

Also, it's High School Football Night! Fans wearing their high school's football jersey will receive $3 General Admission tickets.

Friday, August 17th (7:15): Fireworks! Our always-popular fireworks show will immediately follow the game.

Also, it's First Responders Night! We will have area EMS, police, and firefighters out to thank them for all that they do to serve our community. There will emergency service vehicles on display and an on-field ceremony before the game. Join us in the celebration of all our local heroes!

Saturday, August 18th (7:15): Dr. Pepper College Football Night will give fans the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Alabama vs. Tennessee, Auburn vs. New Mexico, Tennessee vs. Kentucky, Tennessee vs. Georgia (two pairs), Alabama vs. Florida Atlantic, Georgia vs. Georgia Tech, and the SEC Championship Game. Additionally, four UTC season tickets will be given away, and an autographed B.J. Coleman baseball. Fans wearing college apparel will receive $3 General Admission tickets. College fight songs will be played throughout the fun-filled night. A popular annual event, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
