COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - It was a night of milestones as the Colorado Rapids topped rival Real Salt Lake by a 1-0 score at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. Joseph Nane scored his first career goal in the final Subaru Rocky Mountain Cup match of the season.
Rapids midfielder and Littleton native Brian Mullan played his 300th career regular season match, while goalkeeper Matt Pickens, keeping his sixth shutout of the year, set a team record with his 40th win in a Rapids uniform. Colorado snapped a six-game losing streak with the victory, and will look to continue momentum next Saturday at FC Dallas.
