This summer, the Principal Financial Group® will bring the 2012 Principal® Financial Dreams Tour to Rancho Cucamonga as part of a national tour to celebrate minor league baseball and its fans from coast to coast.

On August 1st, The Principal Financial Dreams Tour will visit the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes for a fan day celebration consisting of free Tremor poster giveaway to the first 1,500 fans at the ballpark, plus in-stadium contests, prizes and more.

Fans also will have the opportunity to learn more about The Principal® and how to plan for a secure financial future through a series of entertaining videos which will be played on the giant scoreboard video screen.

"We're excited to continue our support and bring this special experience to fans and our customers at local ballparks around the nation."

Since 2004, The Principal has partnered with minor league baseball teams to inform consumers about the importance of planning for their financial futures, as well as to entertain key customers and business associates in the family-friendly atmosphere of minor league ballparks.

For seven years, from 2004 to 2010, The Principal sponsored the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest, the world's largest and longest-running touring fan festival which appeared outside the ballpark and featured more than 20 baseball themed attractions plus national spokesperson and Hall of Famer, Nolan Ryan.

In 2011, the company hosted the first Principal Financial Dreams Tour, designed to take place inside the ballpark with appearances by baseball greats like Steve Garvey, Joe Carter and others.

In 2012, The Principal has modified the program to focus more on fan recognition, offering fans in each city the opportunity to receive a unique giveaway item or the chance for a one-on-one with a well-known former MLB player.
