Tigers Announce Wonderful Surprise for Tonight's Game
July 13, 2012 - New York-Penn League (NYPL) Connecticut Tigers
NORWICH -The world famous ZOOperstars Inflatable
Mascots will make a special cameo appearance at Dodd Stadium TONIGHT only for
the Tigers' 7:05 p.m. game against the Brooklyn Cyclones. This appearance is in
addition to the Friday Fireworks Show and a special appearance by Connecticut native and
former American Idol Contestant Gabi Carrubba, who will sing the National
Anthem and be available to meet fans before the game.The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the New York-Penn League. The Tigers saw a 23% increase in attendance in 2011, (the 4th highest in Minor League Baseball), and are in their third season at Dodd Stadium.
