Only Five Spots Remain in 2012 Greenstar Recycling Corporate Cup

HOUSTON, TX (Tuesday, July 10, 2012) - The Houston Dynamo announced today that only five spots remain in the main draw for the 2012 Greenstar Recycling Corporate Cup. The group stage of the tournament will be held on Saturday, August 11, with the championship match to be played on Sunday, August 12. All matches will be played at the Houston Amateur Sports Park, the official training facility for the Houston Dynamo.
The Greenstar Recycling Corporate Cup is a small-sided, 7-v-7 tournament hosted annually by the Houston Dynamo. Each corporation wishing to participate is required to pay an entrance fee. Teams are also required to raise funds for their team, with proceeds benefiting the Methodist Center for Sports Medicine .
More than 30 teams have already registered to participate in the annual tournament. Each team is guaranteed to play a minimum of three games. Entrance into the tournament includes tickets to the Houston Dynamo's August 19 match vs. the Columbus Crew.
The winning team of each division (men's and co-ed) will win the Greenstar Recycling Corporate Cup, presented by Tiffany & Co. Additional prizes will be awarded to the teams and individual who raise the most money.
