Jackals Announce 7th Annual Pro Placement Camp
July 5, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL) Elmira Jackals
The Elmira Jackals will host their Seventh Annual Pro Placement Camp at the First Arena Recreational Rink beginning Friday, Aug. 31 through Sunday, Sept. 2. Jackals fans are invited to attend the event free of charge.The camp provides players with an opportunity to qualify for the Jackals' 2012-2013 training camp or to be noticed by scouts from other minor-pro hockey leagues.
Eleven skaters from the 2011 Pro Placement Camp went on to professional teams' rosters last season, appearing in more than 270 games. Camp graduate John Goffredo laced up for the Jackals in their February 12, 2012 contest against Trenton.
