Jon Berti Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced that All-Star second baseman Jon Berti has been promoted to the Dunedin Blue Jays (Class A-Advanced - Florida State League). There is no corresponding move.

In his first year in the Midwest League, Berti batted .281 in 60 games, posting a .391 on-base percentage and 26 stolen bases as the Lugnuts' primary leadoff hitter and table-setter. The Troy, Michigan, native was drafted out of Bowling Green State University in the 18th round in 2011.

The Lugnuts' roster currently comprises 24 active players, three players on the Disabled List and one on the Temporarily Inactive List.
