Fourth of July Celebration Kicks off Homestand

KODAK, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, return home for a six-game homestand starting on Wednesday, July 4 with a three-game series with the Jacksonville Suns, the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. Come celebrate the Fourth of July at Smokies Park and also enjoy two fantastic fireworks shows and another Buck Night.

We kick things off at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday with our Independence Day Celebration. It's also a special Pilot Prize Night, where everyone's a winner! Following the game the Smokies will light up the skies with an Independence Day fireworks show you will not want to miss. Blount County residents and employees won't want to miss out on this night, especially when you can receive a $2 discounts on field level and bleacher tickets by presenting the box office with an ID or pay stub, presented by The Maryville Daily Times.

Thursday's 7:15 game will be all about value. Every fan that walks through the gates will receive a winning scratch-off card on Pilot Prize Night. The Smokies will feature another Buck Night, where hot dogs, small sodas and small popcorns are only &1 each. Kids 12-and-under won't want to miss the game as kids with paid admission can eat for free, courtesy of Q93 FM and they can also run the bases postgame, sponsored by Shoney's. Any residents and employees of Knox County can show their ID or pay stub at the box office and receive a $2 discount on field level and bleacher tickets, presented by Knoxville News Sentinel and CW20.

A mystery will need to be solved during Friday night's game on Mystery Night. After solving the mystery, stick around afterward for a fireworks extravaganza postgame, presented by the Knoxville News Sentinel, Pepsi, Coors Light, WIVK 107.7 and WVLT TV-8.

Smokies tickets can be purchased at www.smokiesbaseball.com or at (865) 286-2300. Adult field level or bleacher seats are $10/$8. Child (12-and-under) and senior (55+) field level or bleacher seats are $9/$7. Fans buying tickets at least four hours before game time get $1 off each ticket.
