Cougars Release 2012-2013 Regular Season Schedule

Their regular season begins on Saturday, September 22nd on the road against the Everett Silvertips. The Cougars and Silvertips will play again on Sunday, September 23rd, before the Cougars return home for their Home Opener.

The Seattle Thunderbirds will provide the Cougars with their first home test on Friday, September 28th at CN Centre.

The 2012 Western Hockey League champion Edmonton Oil Kings come to town on Friday, November 9th and the Cats will face them again the following night on November 10th. All six Eastern Division teams will play in Prince George this season, including the 2013 Memorial Cup Hosts, the Saskatoon Blades on Friday, November 16th.

This season, the Prince George Cougars will host their annual Teddy Bear and Toque Toss on Sunday, December 16th at 4:00 PM against the Vancouver Giants. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed toy, or a toque to toss onto the ice after the Cougars score their first goal of the game.

The final regular season home game will take place on Saturday, March 16th against the Kamloops Blazers.

Overall, the Prince George Cougars will play 13 home games on a Saturday night, with an additional 12 games being played on a Friday. Six home games will be played on Tuesday, three on Wednesday and one each on Sunday and Monday.
