Rox and Huskies Postponed Saturday

June 23, 2012 - Northwoods League (Northwoods) St. Cloud Rox

DULUTH- Tonight's doubleheader between the St Cloud Rox and the Duluth Huskies at Wade Stadium has been postponed due to rain in the area Saturday morning. The teams were originally scheduled to play a single game on Friday and Saturday nights, but flooding in Duluth caused the Friday game to be rescheduled.

The Rox and Huskies will meet again for a pair of doubleheaders in early July. The first will take place at Joe Faber Field on July 2nd, while the second doubleheader will take place at Wade Stadium on July 7th.

The Rox are at Knute Nelson Memorial Ballpark on Sunday evening before returning home for a for a five game homestand against the Thunder Bay Border Cats and the Rochester Honkers. Monday's game against the Cats is "Hometown Heroes Night," and features participants from the 2012 Can-Am games, which are taking place in St. Cloud this year. For tickets visit www.stcloudrox.com.
