Crowe Returns to Clippers, Lawson Rejoins Aeros

The Cleveland Indians announced Tuesday that OF Trevor Crowe has rejoined the Triple-A Columbus Clippers after a brief rehab assignment with Akron. Crowe appeared in four games with the Aeros, going 5-15, with a pair of doubles. He is coming back from an oblique strain that sidelined him for a month. In a corresponding move, second baseman Matt Lawson has been added to the Aeros from the Mahoning Valley roster. Lawson has played in seven Aeros games this year, going 6-16 (.375) with two doubles and five RBI's. Lawson will be in uniform when the Aeros begin a roadtrip in New Britain tonight at 6:35.
