Six Big Home Dates Announced

June 11, 2012 - American Hockey League (AHL) Adirondack Phantoms

Mark your calendars! The Adirondack Phantoms have announced the dates of six of their biggest games for the upcoming 2012-13 season including the home opener.

The team has officially locked in Saturday, October 13 for the first home game of the season. The traditional New Year's Eve game is also on the books. And fans will also want to be ready for the annual Black Friday game over Thanksgiving weekend which is always one of the most popular nights of the season.

The six premium home dates are all on weekends or holidays:

- Saturday, October 13 (Opening Night!)

- Friday, November 2

- Friday, November 23 (Black Friday)

- Saturday, December 15

- Monday, December 31 (Traditional New Years' Eve Game)

- Saturday, January 5

"This is an exciting time for us to be able to officially announce to our fans this advance preview of the upcoming schedule," Phantoms Executive Vice President Chris Porreca said. "We are now able to promote our opener on October 13 and can officially begin the countdown till the start of another great hockey season!"

The Phantoms staff is also now able to structure group ticket packages and promotions around these big weekend and holiday home games now that these dates have been officially announced.

This is just the sneak-preview of the upcoming schedule for the Phantoms in 2012-13. The complete schedule will be released by the league in a couple of months.
