Dragons Activate Tuttle from Disabled List

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Right-handed pitcher Daniel Tuttle has been activated from the disabled list.

Right-handed pitcher Jimmy Moran has been assigned to the Billings roster.

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

A new roster is attached.

Tuttle has been on the disabled list since suffering a strained right calf on May 12. He has made five starts for the Dragons this season, going 1-2 with a 5.40 earned run average. Tuttle's ERA rose from 2.84 to 5.40 in his last start when he suffered the injury and eventually allowed six earned runs in the start. Tuttle was a fifth round draft pick by the Reds in 2009 out of Randleman (N.C.) High School.

Tuttle will start today's game for the Dragons at Bowling Green at 3:05 p.m. (EDT).

Moran has appeared in 18 games for the Dragons this season (all in relief), going 1-2 with a 6.66 ERA.
