June 1, 2012 - Southern League (SL1) - Huntsville Stars News Release
Huntsville, Ala. - The Huntsville Stars kick off a five-day, six-game homestand against the Mississippi Braves (Double-A, Atlanta Braves) this Saturday with a day full of fun and giveaways! The Stars look to return home just within reach of first place in the Southern League North Division! Although currently in last place in the South Division, the M-Braves will be bringing a pitching staff that ranks third in the Southern League in ERA (3.30) to face off against a Stars team that currently leads the Southern League in batting average (2.66). This series will also be a battle between Ian Gac of the Braves and Hunter Morris of the Stars to be the league leader in doubles. Morris currently leads with 20 while Gac is in second place with 18. Join the Stars for a great baseball matchup and five days of fun for the whole family!

Sunday, June 3 - 2:03 p.m. - Show Your Card and Save Sunday, Doubleheader
The Stars are set to play the Braves in two seven-inning games because of a rain-out during their last series.
