Toronto to Face Norfolk in Calder Cup Final

May 25, 2012 - American Hockey League (AHL) Toronto Marlies

The Toronto Marlies, a proud member of the American Hockey League, will play the Norfolk Admirals (AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning) in the 2012 Calder Cup Final Series. Toronto earned a berth in the Calder Cup by defeating the Oklahoma City Barons four games to one in the Western Conference Final. This is the second Calder Cup appearance for the Toronto Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate (St. John's 1991/92).

Toronto holds a record of 11-2 in the playoffs, while Norfolk enters the series with a record of 11-3. The Marlies and Admirals did not play one another during the regular season.

The following is the confirmed schedule for the 2012 Calder Cup Final Series. All Toronto home games will be played at Ricoh Coliseum.

Calder Cup Final tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Saturday, May 26th at 12:00 p.m. eastern time). Tickets can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825) or by visiting marlies.ca.
