San Jose Giants Announce 2012 Summer Clinic at Municipal Stadium

SAN JOSE, CA- The San Jose Giants have announced a two-day summer clinic taking place at Municipal Stadium June 30 and July 1. The coaching staff will be made up of current San Jose Giants players while the clinic will be led by former San Jose Giant and current Account Executive and Camp Coordinator, Taylor Wilding.

The clinic will focus on developing baseball skills for boys and girls ages 9 through 14 and will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day. The San Jose Giants recognize the importance of individual instruction and are committed to having numerous instructors on-hand. Clinic participants will receive the most personal interaction and focused attention possible as the clinic will maintain a 10:1 camper to coach ratio.

"It will be a great opportunity for kids aspiring to be Major Leaguers to learn from the future stars of the San Francisco Giants," said Wilding. "This is a very exciting and unique opportunity for participants to have current San Jose Giants players coach this clinic."

Included in the registration price of $150, each participant will receive a clinic t-shirt, tickets for the entire family to attend a future San Jose Giants game as well as a food voucher for the camper. During the sessions, clinic participants will work on all fundamentals of the game with a focus on base-running, hitting, throwing mechanics, catching, and fielding.
