Fort Worth, Texas --- Opening Night for the Fort Worth Cats is just five days away, and the Cats will surely start off the season with a bang. It was announced this morning that a firework display will be presented at historic LaGrave Field for Opening Night on Wednesday, May 23rd.

"We along with our partner, Dr. Pepper, are pleased to carry on the fireworks tradition as we begin the new season. We are excited to bring the fans a fantastic fireworks show following Opening Night versus the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings," said Cats General Manager Chris Hart and President Mike Stone. "This is the start to a great partnership with Dr. Pepper to make the experience for Fort Worth Cats fans even better."
