River Bandits and Kernels Postponed by Rain
May 15, 2012 - Midwest League (MWL) Quad Cities River Bandits
DAVENPORT, Iowa (MAY 15, 2012) - The game scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Modern Woodmen Park between the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Cedar Rapids Kernels has been postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader in Cedar Rapids on a date to be determined before the end of the season's first half.Quad Cities (19-19) will travel to Beloit to begin a six-game road trip Wednesday. The River Bandits visit the first-place Snappers and the Clinton LumberKings before an off day Tuesday, May 22, and return home Wednesday, May 23, to face Wisconsin.
UP NEXT: The River Bandits return home Wednesday, May 23, to start a three-game series with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on another Pay Your Bill Wednesday presented by Mix 96. Fans can bring a copy of a bill to the ballpark to be entered in a drawing, from which two will be selected and paid by the River Bandits up to $100 each.
